Roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and veg. It was supposed to be for Sunday, but DH said today would be better, and prepped the vegetables so I’m not arguing.

Chinese takeaway - haven’t had one for ages. Made a change.

Mollygo Wed 14-Apr-21 21:37:16

Chinese take away here too. We didn’t feel like what was in the menu so just for a change. Mmmm

Meatballs with jacket potato, peas and gravy. I had a lot of stomach pain last night and didn’t sleep well, so I will eat what I can. I’m not gluten intolerant, but too much bread does affect me and we’ve eaten a lot of sandwiches over the last few days for various reasons. I’ve not eaten much today, sipping lots of water so hoping things are settled down. I really do need to watch what I eat more carefully.

Cauliflower and Aubergine Thai curry - Mary Berry recipe.

TerriBull Sat 17-Apr-21 18:10:34

Usually we have curry on a Saturday but I'm using up some Aborio rice hanging around in my cupboards and making some chicken and prawn paella for a change.

foxie48 Sat 17-Apr-21 18:27:57

Oooh, paella sounds lovely! We have local asparagus ATM so I bought special deal of three bunches, first bunch went with salmon last night, I've made some asparagus soup for today's lunch and this evening we're having baked gammon, asparagus, roasted tomatoes and a poached egg + some left over new potatoes from last night roasted in the aga. I've also made a salmon and asparagus quiche for lunch tomorrow. I intend to get totally maxed out on asparagus!
