Chicken, sweet potato and mushroom curry, all gone a while ago.

MissAdventure Fri 25-Mar-22 22:55:33

Oh that sounds nice.
Did you cook it from "scratch" or is it suitable for a lazy sod like me to have a go at? smile

I really couldn't be bothered, so it was vegetarian sausages, poached eggs, baked beans. Then a chocolate chip hot cross bun with lots of butter on.

We had a sort of parmigiana. I thought I had mozzarella in the fridge, but I didn't, and I didn't realise until I had grilled the aubergines and made the tomato sauce, so subbed it with a mix of Philli and cheddar, and used the parmesan for the topping mixed with panic breadcrumbs. It was far from authentic, but tasted ok. We had it with cheesy garlic bread (bought).

We were having kedgeree with smoked bass fillets and lemon infused rice.
Howeverby the time I got out from governors, I was so hungry I asked DH if he’d like a chippy tea, so he had haddock and chips and I had scampi and chips with home made tartare sauce. Mmm!

I stuffed cabbage leaves with turkey mince onions and garlic and covered them in a tomato paprika sauce. I am serving them with new potatoes.

Sent you pm MissAdventure.

Leftover gammon from Sunday, bubble and squeak, also from Sunday, with a fried egg on top.

Dinner tonight, Thai style egg fried rice with a little leftover roast chicken added, and a side of lots of stir-fried veggies.

Frittata with salad and warm bread rolls.

Doodledog Sat 02-Apr-22 17:27:46

A cheesy/chilli/pasta concoction made in the Ninja, with garlic bread. It will be Seventiestastic, and might not work, as I'm learning to use the Ninja, and am having to make some changes to the recipe, but I don't see how it can go very wrong.

Cheesecake for pudding. That can't go wrong, as it's a frozen one from Donald Russell grin.

I’m in Portugal on holiday so it’s all about the fish!

Mollygo Sat 02-Apr-22 18:00:44

We’re trying roasted flour soup tonight. No idea what it will be like.

I had intended to do a slow cooked casserole.
I may have missed my opportunity, I think. blush

MissAdventure Sat 02-Apr-22 20:30:22

So, a pot of Asda tomato and basil soup, with toast.

It was nowhere near as nice and chunky as the sainsbury one, and that was nowhere near as nice as the Aldi one.

Jaxjacky Sat 02-Apr-22 20:46:25

Cottage pie, topping a mix of sweet potato and ordinary, carrots and cauli.

ginny Sat 02-Apr-22 21:27:32

We had bacon and butternut risotto.
