Why not melon, bowls of melon salad, mixing and matching different colours and types of melon, garnished with a mint leaves and even a dash of a suitable clear liqueur.

Family get together next weekend and I’ve decided to go full blown Italian.

I’m sort of ok with most courses but the primi is giving me trouble. I want something very light but tasty. I did think of a ravioli dish, or cannelloni dish, but if someone has a lighter veggie idea I would be pleased to have the recipe.

Also dolce will probably end up being Taramisu or panne cotta but would be good to have something different and perhaps fruit based
