Love my smoothies. Usually instead of any other breakfast fare.
Usually make 2 days at a time.
Mine have chia seeds (they bulk up & stop hunger)
Fresh ginger (because I love it, but it's also anti-inflammatory, good for digestion etc)
Turmeric - 2 tsp (joints),
Celery (ditto)
Aldi/ Lidl seed & nut mix has ground flax seeds etc. for smoothies - sooo convenient!
Whatever fruit is around, but always bananas, a little fruit juice, live yogurt.
Spinach is great - it just seems to take some of the sweetness out and is a a good source of antioxidants & vitamins.
Alternatively, peanut butter & coffee smoothie with cinnamon.
Basically, it's what ever you fancy.
Guess they could help with weight loss - no bread, processed sugar and some of the above are used to help with losing weight.
