Would you use cauliflower stalks

I don't even make soup with them. I just cut them into chunks and cook/serve along with all the other vegetables.

Thank you, Hetty, that’s what I thought. I’ll add them to other veg in my soup maker. That’s on the menu tonight! ?

Yes I would! Only recently, I've stopped putting perfectly good cabbage stalks etc. in the compost bin. I add them, in chunks, to my (favourite) roasted veggies or grate them into salads - and they're tasty!

Before I dispose of them in the food waste bin, would you use the stalks of a cauliflower to make soup? I would obviously add other ingredients. Thank you.
