I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.

To do not going to!!smile

SachaMac Wed 15-Mar-23 17:34:18

I’m going to a cheese and ham omelette later with a side salad. Ive had friends around this afternoon so I’ve been scoffing cake and don’t feel at all hungry.

Couscous, roasted veg, cooked black beans on top, tahini dressing. Bread and hummus, rocket tomato salad. Fruit

Home baked pizza. I've just added the water to the yeast and kneaded the pizza base. It's now resting for an hour and a half. I've got garlic and tomato puree and cheese and tomatoes to plonk on top.

Was going to do a slow cook beef and pumpkin stew, but forgot to defrost the beef. Might get beef out and prepare it for tomorrow.

So it is Salmon and orange stir fry

Chicken, mushroom and tarragon casserole with rice and possibly peas (or carrots).

Pasta, mushrooms and a spoonful of creme fraiche with a salad tonight.

Tofu has been marinading overnight. There will also be rice , cherry tomatoes, and broccoli. Pistachio nuts.

A strange mixture of roasted veg, noodles and smoked tofu with garlic, rosemary and olive oil - topped with nutritional yeast flakes (as I'm clearing the fridge). Luckily, it's very nice!

After my art class I popped into Waitrose and managed to bag some hake that had just been HUGELY reduced, bought enough for tonight's meal and some for the freezer. I drove home feeling very pleased. We had hake, samphire, new pots, courgettes and cauliflower cheese. I'm, doing ZOE so I skipped the pots but the remains of the veg will go well with the gammon sitting in the fridge for OH's supper tomorrow. I'm out with friends so needed an easy supper that I didn't have to cook.

Cheese & broccoli quiche, roasted new potatoes, salad with lemon and herb dressing

I suspect it will be a wrap with venison and salad - again! We tend to have the same meal, with slight variations, until we use up the main ingredient and I think the venison my husband took out of the freezer a few days ago will appear for the third time tonight.

I’m just happy that, notwithstanding we don’t have a working cooker since the fire in our kitchen, my husband is prepared to look after me so well whilst I’m ill. 🤗

Ribeye steak with Bearnaise sauce, sautéed potatoes and asparagus.

Blossoming Tue 14-Mar-23 17:23:38

Pasta in a tomato based sauce with spicy sausage and peppers. I don’t think it has a name, or a recipe, we just make it up as we go along grin

Norah Tue 14-Mar-23 16:23:47

Farro, toasty broccoli, garbanzo, pasta bowl. Bread, salad. Fruit.

The dressing is very good.

Redhead56 Tue 14-Mar-23 16:21:05

Spaghetti with pesto prawns and parmesan and I made scones for later.

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 14-Mar-23 15:57:35

I’m doing spag Bol. I make Felicity Cloake’s recipe which has milk, a pinch of nutmeg, bacon and carrots added.

Urmstongran Tue 14-Mar-23 15:36:49

I just fancied a roast lamb dinner. Himself has gone down to Aldi in the lift to buy half a lamb shoulder, sprouts, cauliflower and potatoes. I will make a pan of gravy and there’s a jar of mint sauce in the fridge. We like to eat around 7pm so I will ‘slam in the lamb’ at 5pm. We often decide what we fancy buying about this time of day. It’s brilliant to be able to do this.
😊

Hoorah! I'm not cooking. It's our 53rd Anniversary and we are having a take-away (Chinese...I've selected what I want to eat)
Mine you our son and d-in-law have had an afternoon tea from M&S delivered so I mustn't eat too much of that smile

MiniMoon Tue 14-Mar-23 14:07:12

Not a lot. DH has been to the dentist and had a rotten molar extracted. He can't eat or drink until after 6 pm. It will have to be something soft. Maybe soup and rice pudding. We will wait and see.

Riverwalk Tue 14-Mar-23 13:37:35

I've taken a burger out of the freezer and will have that with a slice of cheddar on top, a large portion of roasted vegetables 🍆🌶️🍅 and a wine

SachaMac Tue 14-Mar-23 13:22:31

Out tonight but just had a quick look at the menu and like the look of the Lancashire Cheese and caramelised onion pie.

kittylester Tue 14-Mar-23 07:28:42

Pasta bake - tomato, basil and loads of mozzarella and parmesan. Maybe garlic bread.

Whitewavemark2 Tue 14-Mar-23 06:36:49

Today is sea bass baked with Mediterranean vegetables.

henetha Mon 13-Mar-23 23:32:35
