I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.

Sounds lovely.

We are having burger and chips!

There is a gourmet burger van that visits our village once a fortnight. We treat ourselves once month. The burgers are fabulous and the chips even better! And, I don't have to cook - it counts as DH cooking.

Homemade chicken curry and rice.

M&S lightly breaded haddock, mashed sweet potatoes, Savoy cabbage and green beans. I try to stick to fish on Friday old habits die hard and my husband always laughingly refers to it as a hangover from my past "Catholic fish Friday" grin

I had jam on toast, I am beginning to wonder reading these posts that I should start making more of an effort

I’ve just had breaded haddock with seeded breadcrumbs with some salad and a good portion of old fashioned mushy peas that I soaked yesterday us a dollop of tartare sauce. Very nice but I’m a bit late eating tonight.

A carvery at our local pub. It was lovely but I do think I'm getting to be a bit lazy about cooking a Sunday roast now.

Roast chicken dinner, steamed Charlotte potatoes with carrots, two Aldi Yorkshire puds each, stuffing, and wilted spinach.

It smells lovely as it’s cooking, it’s making my tummy rumble!

Home made lasagne tonight.

We had some Guinea fowl left over from yesterday so I mixed it with a sauce made with half chicken stock and half milk. This was added to cooked pasta and a pile of sliced mushrooms. All popped in a serving dish and topped with a mixture of grated cheese and brown breadcrumbs. Half an hour in the oven. Pudding is gooseberry (OH’s favourite) crumble and custard.
