I've just cooked cheesy-breadcrumbed Basa, with sweet potatoes and oven-roasted Mediterranean vegetables. (It's a Gousto recipe I had ages ago) Gorgeous.

What may turn out to be a dodgy curry. I made it on Friday and it’s been sitting in the fridge! Watch this space!

So glad you appreciate his efforts, calli - it's one of his specials!

If he could just add a few prawns please 😁

Charlie Bigham curry. Cooked by dh!!!!

Well done your DH! It takes a lot of effort. We had his fish pie on Friday, with sprouting broccoli.

Lamb chops from the farm shop with roast potatoes and roast carrots, cabbage and runner beans (from the garden).

Jaxjacky Sun 30-Jul-23 19:33:41

Roast pork for him, with roasties, I don’t like it so leftover beef, parsnip and carrot stew for me, with greens and cauli for both.

We had to go out this afternoon, meanwhile my son has taken over the kitchen, he's staying for the weekend with our grandchildren. It all smells good, right now he's cooking roast chicken, infused with garlic, roast potatoes, honey glazed roast carrots, broccoli. I've been issued with a "keep out mum, I know what I'm doing, I'm an excellent cook" Well move over Jamie Oliver grin

Baggs Sun 30-Jul-23 16:50:02

Roast beef (rare event), and a mish-mash of neeps, avocado and pesto (home-made) because they need using up.

Norah Sun 30-Jul-23 16:11:42

We've many tomatoes, I found a new-to-us recipe using fresh tomatoes (omitting canned and using fresh in that bit of recipe).

Tomato Chickpea curry, Naan, green salad, fruit. Chocolates.
