Coffee, water, tea, milkshake, milk or anything else that's interesting?

Large cup strong Yorkshire taken back to bed, or brought up by kindly mr.

Several mugs of sugarless builder’s tea, brewed in a teapot which is replenished regularly throughout the day

Juicylucy Sat 07-Oct-23 12:42:08

Mug of Yorkshire tea.

I can't start the day without having 3 mugs of tea first. Even the weakest coffee seems too strong for my stomach first thing in a morning.

Lately one of these, gifted by my DD for Mother’s Day. They are interesting and give a boost without jitters like caffeine, at least to me. I drink just one a day, black.

2 mugs of yorkshire tea, strong with milk

For breakfast - a huge glass of unsweetened soya milk or a bottle of Actimel milk, with 2 Muller yoghurts or Mullerice!

How not hose!

twiglet77

My first drink is hot water with half a lemon, a cinnamon stick, an inch of root ginger and a tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar. Instant coffee with breakfast, hot lemon again after lunch, herbal tea after supper. Lots of water during the day.

That sounds like a mixture I’d enjoy twiglet77 but I’m useless without instructions to start me off. Don’t suppose you’d mind sharing with a total novice hose to make it would you?

lackofcheese (interesting name !) I start the day off with a big mug of water then my first decaf black coffee of the day.

A strong decaffeinated coffee from my beloved machine . That sounds like a contradiction I know but it is pretty good!

Maya1 Sat 07-Oct-23 11:55:18

One cup of regular ground coffee, then decaf coffee. Cranberry juice and sparkling water.

Peppermint tea for me, gets the digestive system working!

mar76 Sat 07-Oct-23 11:33:11

A large glass of hot water to get my system going.

JudyBloom Sat 07-Oct-23 11:24:18

warm water and honey.

winterwhite

Decaff coffee, which I drink all day. What's all this about glasses of water? Never heard of such a thing. Sounds like some health kick that has passed me by.

I have Chronic Kidney Disease so have to try and drink a couple of litres of water a day. The first half a litre early in the morning starts me off and helps with early morning hydration.

Nothing much, coffee and tea give me indigestion so mostly its half a glass of juice

pce612 Sat 07-Oct-23 11:21:30

Decaff earl grey, no milk or sugar.

First thing it is fruit tea which my husband makes for me. Then a half glass of low sugar pineapple or apple juice with breakfast. Then I enjoy a leisurely cup of bean to cup coffee (one of only two cups a day), so really enjoyable. Then after my coffee I am much more sociable.

Nicolenet Sat 07-Oct-23 11:19:42

English breakfast tea with skimmed milk and water. Rarely have a cappuccino when I've overslept.

RosesandLilac Sat 07-Oct-23 11:15:49

Latte macchiato from the Tassimo to enjoy in bed then a small cafètierre of coffee with hot milk. Then you can talk to me 😁

Sue500 Sat 07-Oct-23 11:14:18

Hot water, two or three cups. Rarely drink nothing else before 10.30.

FannyD Fri 06-Oct-23 19:06:09

Twinings English Breakfast Tea. In bed. Though it’s difficult to find any in the shops at the moment. Has anyone else found that?

Jaxjacky Fri 06-Oct-23 15:32:20

winterwhite I’m on blood thinners, medical advice is to drink between 1 and 1.5 lyrics of water a day.

M0nica Fri 06-Oct-23 15:20:47

I am quite unapologetic. Lift, instant lemon tea.

Ladyleftfieldlover Fri 06-Oct-23 15:17:21

At home a pot of English Breakfast tea, semi skimmed milk but no sugar. A small glass of pineapple juice. Finally a large glass of tap water to take with all my tablets. If I’m in a hotel, the tea is replaced with coffee.
