Coffee, water, tea, milkshake, milk or anything else that's interesting?

I drink lemon and ginger tea....not sure if it's interesting though!

A big glass of water while I'm making my first cup of tea!

Black coffee, no sugar. Not very interesting, but very welcome.

Four and a half mugs of weak tea with milk. Or three and a half plus a mug of hot water.

A mug of hot coffee, with milk and 1/4 tsps sugar….

Water, as I do all day. I just don't like any hot drinks or even alcohol. I make a cheap date!

First thing: a cup of Earl Grey Tea with about a teaspoonful of milk; no sugar. Mid morning-ish: a cup of freshly-ground/brewed Coffee with the same minimal milk and no sugar.

I'm being bad at the moment. Hot chocolate left over from my recent trip abroad. Only a small mug.

Water with my first two lots of meds. Levothyroxine has to be taken one hour before my other meds and one hour before any tea or coffee. After I’ve taken my second lot of meds MrB brings me a lovely big mug of tea so I can drink it in bed while I wake up properly. After years of getting up early for work it’s such a pleasure to take it slowly.

What do you have lackofcheese?

fancythat Thu 05-Oct-23 17:09:11

Tea and orange juice.

Red Bush - 'Rooibos' - 'tea' in a very large mug. It is really a herbal drink rather than a tea and is caffeine free. It was a favourite drink of the Bushmen of the Kalahari and is believed to have many health given benefits. I've just looked it up on line and there is a lot of information about it. I first discovered it in a book by Laurens van Der Post called "The Bushmen of the Kalahari". I find it a very calming start to the day. The book is one of my favourite books ever.

Redbush tea. Decaf ground coffee after breakfast.

MaizieD Thu 05-Oct-23 17:16:50

Two or three mugs of Earl Grey tea, weak, no milk or sugar.

I probably have four or five more over the course of the day.

I don't drink anything else apart from fruit juice. Can't bear coffee.
