Coffee, water, tea, milkshake, milk or anything else that's interesting?

My first drink is hot water with half a lemon, a cinnamon stick, an inch of root ginger and a tbsp of organic apple cider vinegar. Instant coffee with breakfast, hot lemon again after lunch, herbal tea after supper. Lots of water during the day.

My mum used to drink very strong Yorkshire tea but I like tea very, very weak to the extent I share a bag with my husband - he gets it first. Coffee I don’t mind fairly strong.

That’s exactly how I have my tea. In fact I might just as well have hot water and milk it’s that weak!

Mug strong tea - 1/2 spoon of sugar - and a large glass of water. I am trying to drink more water throughout the day to keep hydrated! Don't always manage it though blush

Decaff coffee, which I drink all day. What's all this about glasses of water? Never heard of such a thing. Sounds like some health kick that has passed me by.

Two massive mugs of Welsh tea Paned with full fat milk and two sugars. If away from home just fruit juice no tea any where is as good.

Cold well with it being “Yorkshire Tea” …I’d have thought there’d be no cross border tariffs to worry about😉

Yorkshire Gold tea - if I can get it in these post Brexit days

Granmarderby10 Thu 05-Oct-23 23:43:54

Tea. For preference Yorkshire Gold or M&S Gold or M&S Assam or Kenya teas. I like malty teas.
Tried some red bush tea the other day and rather liked it, but not first thing.

Green tea on waking and proper coffee with milk mid- morning.

henetha Thu 05-Oct-23 23:17:46

Tea. Always a cup of tea. And maybe a second cup sometimes.

Mostly Earl grey tea but if we get up late, coffee. Not instant, though, because I don’t like it.

Ringtons tea for me too with a dash of skimmed milk and a sweetener.
I have a coffee mid morning when I get back from the dog walk.

Ringtons Northumberland or Breakfast blend loose leaf. A very good start to the day, drunk in bed.
Other teas are available. But I am lucky that I have a Ringtons van delivery.brew

I fast from 10 pm till 12 pm the following day so in the morning I have a big glass of soda water and lime …

rafichagran Thu 05-Oct-23 20:45:11

Water, then a mug of tea with milk, that first cup of tea is the best one of the day.

lixy Thu 05-Oct-23 20:33:02

Mine's a coffee please, dash of milk, no sugar. Our alarm still goes off at getting up for work time - 5.45 am - and it's a daily luxury to have coffee in bed, no need to get up before dawn these days. smile

Jaxjacky Thu 05-Oct-23 20:24:16

A large glass of water then a large mug of Yorkshire tea, s/s milk, no sugar, two further mugs of tea in the morning, water in the afternoon.

Poppyred Thu 05-Oct-23 20:20:15

You would have to pay me a LOT to drink tea 🤮

Cabbie21 Thu 05-Oct-23 19:56:44

Tea, not necessarily strong but very black- very little milk, two sweeteners. At least four more during the day, plus water or orange squash.

Grandmadinosaur Thu 05-Oct-23 19:44:46

I have water with my meds. Then a decaf tea whilst in bed. Mint tea once I’m up and about.

Redrobin51 Thu 05-Oct-23 19:42:02

I have a small glass of orange juice and then a cup of tea. Couldn't face coffee first thing, I find tea more thirst quenching.

Chocolatelovinggran Thu 05-Oct-23 19:41:29

Gin - obviously...
