Can I use my Nutribullet instead of buying a juicer?

We have a glut of apples this year and I wonder whether I can make a “smoothie” in the Nutribullet using apples and honey and a bit of water only? I’d prefer not to add milk or yoghurt as a carrier.

I’m reluctant to buy yet another appliance.

Just wondering whether anyone else has tried this.

Yes Retread, apples work well in the Nutribullet with the added bonus of everything being blitzed so no need to seive skin, pulp etc. (It's very important though to remove the pips as they contain traces of cyanide)
I'm not sure how much of a smooth smoothie apples alone would make but I always add a banana if I don't want to use milk or yoghurt.

Yes but cut them into quarters first
