I tend to cook/eat for the day rather than the season so earlier this week when rain was biblical the slow cooker was filled with pork loin, apples and sage casserole. Not only did it taste good, it warmed my tiny kitchen as well!
Now that sounds nice. I have got the last of this seasons apples in a bowl in the kirchen. I have made one apple cake nd plan 2 more. That will still leave a few apples to finish and there is plenty of sage just outside the back door.
