The price is in Rupees!
It's an Indian website.

Which country is that advert from?

569 something (not £, € or $) for one kilo of oats?
🤔

Witzend

What????
I just buy bags of relatively cheap supermarket 100% oats, there’s never any added sugar. Quick and easy to make from scratch.

That was my first thought too.

Those instant porridge oats aren’t really that healthy for you- I buy scotch porridge oats 2.5 mins in the microwave, tiny bit of sugar/ or tea spoon of maple syrup & milk

I agree fully with Witzend & Welshgirl! "Proper" porridge is easy & cheap to make (we use the microwave). And there are no unknown additives....

Not to appear thick - but what on Earth are you buying?

I’ve checked both my Flahavans tube and Quaker box and they are all just 100% whole grain oats with nothing added.

I just buy plain oats, absolutely nothing added, easy to find in most supermarkets and online - I often go for Flahavans Organic Porridge Oats, but have had supermarket own brands (eg. Tesco/Lidl/Ocado etc) - simple and cheap - just add your own water/milk fruit etc when cooked. No need for 'fancy porridge' with additives!
