Look at bamboo plates on Amazon. Used them for hot food and half the guests never realised that they were disposable.

Might it be worth hiring real plates if you have a local company? I’ve just googled and it’s about 22-25p per plate.

You can get heavy duty paper/cardboard ones in most of the supermarkets. However, they may be difficult to get after Christmas.

I’m hosting a buffet lunch for around 20 people. I want strong disposable plates, cutlery, bowls, to withstand jacket potatoes and hot quiches.
Any ideas please?
