I am not a novice to air fryers, I have had a ninja for some time but it is a single bowl type.
I like the process and principle so I have bought a two drawer type , one large, one smaller.
I bought a small chicken today, very small really.
I massaged it well all over with olive oil mixed with garlic and herbs, tarragon amd salt and pepper.
I preheated the air fryer and cooked for 25 mins breast side down at 160 degrees and then turned it and cooked for a further 25 mins .
I rested it for 20 mins.
The breast meat was delicious, moist and tender, so good.
But I feel the legs had had too long, quite well cooked verging on dry.
Any tips from you regulars at cooking larger pieces in the air fryer?
