Thanks for your comments. I don’t think this can have been expensive or a special edition (unless the caterer had it left over from Christmas). Mostly standard fare for our area ….. but I did note a couple of figs thrown in!

It sounds like the Wensleydale creamery winter warmer, it’s usually only produced for the Christmas market.

Could it have been Wensleydale with pumpkin spice?

Could be a limited edition fruit-cake flavour cheese for Christmas, so it isn't on permanent sale?
