Tinned raspberries

May I add my voice to all the "frozen raspberries" suggestions here, please? Frozen berries taste better than tinned, half of the weight isn't made up of somewhat bitter juice, they're soft but not mushy and you don't have to use the whole lot up in one go. Also, in my experience, tinned raspberries seem to contain a lot more seeds which get stuck between your teeth.

Are tinned raspberries not a bit 'mushy' in texture? Genuine question as I've never had them.

According to the Trolley app they’re available in Sainsbury’s and Asda, 300g tin, though I thought I’d seen them in Waitrose.

I don't think I've ever had them!
What is the recipe please?
Sainsbury's and Asda seem to sell them.

I get them from Waitrose.

make a sugar syrup and add frozen ones.

Would frozen ones do?

Why not try frozen raspberries?

Do tinned raspberries no longer exist? I have a nice recipe for a simple fruit dessert that requires them but I can’t find them in any local supermarkets or smaller stores. I can see dragon fruit, lychees and all manner of exotic fruits but no raspberries!
