I'm not particularly keen on pizza but freshly cooked pizza cannot be compared to frozen pizza.

We live in a village with an excellent Indian takeaway, who also do amazing pizza. We also have a chippy and a Chinese (neither of which we like). Our nearest town us about 7 miles away and there are a variety of Takeaways that deliver, some free if we spend over a certain amount.
We haven't had a takeaway since before Christmas but it's a nice treat occasionally.
I prefer to cook fresh food from scratch but I don't judge what other people choose to do. My daughter lives in the middle of a large city and eats out alot, she never cooks.
Her choice.

I can't believe that people can't believe that others do things differently from them grin.

Different families, different styles

Takeaways is what kept many restaurants open and in business during covid

We go shopping on a Saturday evening and our treat is to have a takeaway afterwards. Sometimes we have an extra large pizza from our local pizzeria which does three of us .It is freshly cooked and nothing like the ones you buy in a supermarket especially the cardboard-like ones found in the freezers.

Oops sorry, we get our Chinese delivered.

My friend and I have a Chinese takeaway roughly every six weeks at her house and yes, we get it delivered.

We have a Chinese takeaway approximately once a month as we haven’t got a Chinese restaurant within about 30 minutes drive.

Not a fan of pizza, but do get them delivered when sitting for the teenagers in the winter as they taste so much better than popping a frozen one in the oven

The meal delivery service is very much alive and kicking and very regularly used
We certainly have a take away now and then not necessarily regularly
But the amount of deliveroo and Uber eats being delivered on their bikes are around all the time and yes breakfast, dinners and in the evenings
According to the grandkids a frozen pizza is nothing like a domino’s pizza Varian I m not a great pizza fan but I do like an Indian Chinese or Thai now and then as a treat

By my reckoning it’s over 10 years since we’ve had one. We’d rather go out to eat nowadays than stay home if not cooking.

I honestly couldn't tell you the last time we had a takeaway, but our next-door neighbours get food delivered all the time - and I mean all the time! It's not uncommon for us to see delivery drivers dropping off takeaways for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and that's almost every day. It must cost them an absolute fortune, especially as there is a big family.

Apparently there are people who regularly "phone for a takeaway" - and hot food gets delivered to their home! Extraordinary!

We have never had a takeaway except perhaps fish and chips from a fish and chip shop, maybe two or three times a year, usually at the seaside and eaten on the beach - avoiding marauding seagulls!

Even if you can't be bothered to cook, why would you "phone for a pizza" when you could easily transfer a frozen pizza from your freezer to your oven in less time and at half the cost?
