Stuffing ball are exactly as described. Balls of stuffing. Instead of stuffing the mixture into the bird, make them into little balls and bake them.

If you have a recipe of fairly loose bread stuffing, then add an egg to make the mixture stickier, so they can be made into balls.

I make a nice appetizer for over the Christmas season, little stuffing balls and a cranberry dip.

I agree with Doodledog they'll be fine. I bet they'll taste OK with whatever you were planning to serve them with, (think of beef and pork sausages), but if you don't think so, served with pasta and tomato sauce they'd make a lovely meal.

My thoughts, Doodle.

Won't they just be like meatballs? If you don't fancy them with your meal as planned, you could serve them with tomato sauce and spaghetti.

I had a blonde/grey moment and made a batch of stuffing balls with beef! I was in a farm shop yesterday and couldn’t find the sausage meat. Someone pointed it out to me but it wasn’t until I was about to whizz the mixture up that I noticed it was BEEF. I should have realised when I saw my purchase was four thin slices of what I thought was minced pork. Anyway, the things are made and will be baked tomorrow or Sunday.

Thoughts?!
