Found this portable espresso maker that looks perfect for camping trips:

Anyone tried something similar?

Try the aeropress. Smaller, lighter easy to use and cheaper to run. My SIL who is a wild camper introduced me to this and it makes excellent coffee with minimum faff. I got mine from Amazon.

Sounds Good I'll check for it

You started two threads with a link which could have appeared as advertising that’s why someone thought you weren’t genuine We get a lot of advertising trolls on here

Are you backpacking?
You do realise it only does five shots?

Isn’t the point of camping to leave the “must have” culture behind?

You can make espresso on any camping stove, from ground coffee beans and water, in a billy can, or even over an open fire, heated by fallen wood newly collected and piled into a makeshift fireplace. Why take an electric espresso machine away with you on a camping trip? Would you also pack a full-sized washing machine, a tumble-dryer, a fifty-inch TV and a four-poster bed into your car?

My coffee loving son found the aeropress hard work.

Do you never take beverages camping?
Maybe you are a water and wild herbs/berries person?

I'm a coffee and tea camper.

that's Right!

SleekBuild Sun 10-Aug-25 10:58:34

That's the point it's not a full size machine , it's like a hand carry equipment

You might do better, if you are genuinely looking for recommendations, to look on a camping / hiking forum (in the US?).
Those are the sort of places we got some useful info about things camping related

I guess there’s two kinds of camping. The home from home and the away from it all.

M definitely a back to basics and I confess to enjoying foragingI I enjoy a cup of coffee too but the thought of lugging an xproseo machine with me😱🙄🤣
