Always cleaning the floors

Jangran99 Mon 25-Sept-17 23:12:18

Just wait for me! I need to buy some traps.

SparklyGrandma Tue 26-Sept-17 00:48:37

Kindly let me have a quiet day resting tomorrow...

Bellanonna Tue 26-Sept-17 08:16:31

List of jobs to be done has gone missing. Will look later.

Chewbacca Wed 27-Sept-17 22:46:29

Made a huge bowl of pot pourri today from lavender and rose petals. I'll put it in the hallway, shall I?

Marydoll Wed 27-Sept-17 22:52:20

Never liked lavender, but love roses.

Chewbacca Wed 27-Sept-17 22:54:40

Oh! But I can't pick all those tiny little lavender buds out! I love lavender, it's my favourite!

Jangran99 Wed 27-Sept-17 22:57:10

Pickling some onions but can't see for tears. Who has a cure for this?

Marydoll Wed 27-Sept-17 23:00:39

Pick out the rose petals instead. Please get your priorities right.

Marydoll Wed 27-Sept-17 23:01:26

Question. Why am I so slow witted?

Jangran99 Wed 27-Sept-17 23:03:30

Rubbish. It's because great minds think alikegrin

Chewbacca Wed 27-Sept-17 23:05:46

Right, I've been told that onions won't make your eyes stream with tears if you suck on a spoon and wear swimming goggles whilst handling the onions. Can't vouch for it personally but I'll lend you the goggles if you like?

Marydoll Wed 27-Sept-17 23:07:19

So kind of you. I'm being unreasonable. Keep the lavender, Chewy

Chewbacca Wed 27-Sept-17 23:08:29

Tosh! Not unreasonable at all! wink

Jangran99 Wed 27-Sept-17 23:10:48

Sounds possible,thanks Chewbacca
Hope no-one comes to the door while I'm so occupied!

Jangran99 Wed 27-Sept-17 23:12:08

Uh oh, late again!

Marydoll Wed 27-Sept-17 23:26:42

Very concerned regarding your tardiness, Jan

Jangran99 Wed 27-Sept-17 23:30:20

Will try harder, but it is late and I keep dropping the spoon and can't see with these goggles!!!

Chewbacca Wed 27-Sept-17 23:32:28

grin Jan

Xtremely concerned that you have the goggles on inside out. The must be giving you a headache too. Leave the onions until tomorrow.

Jangran99 Wed 27-Sept-17 23:38:10

Yes Chewy ,I need my bed.Wish I'd made it this morning.

Bellanonna Thu 28-Sept-17 08:19:29

Zut alors!! It's another day. I suggest ironing, dusting, hoovering, polishing. Oh bother. I would have but I'm out for the day. Pity. Enjoy your busy days ?

DanniRae Thu 28-Sept-17 08:34:41

A day out for me too - well lunch and a couple of hours shopping. (Otherwise known as 'taking stuff back and buying more to take back next week'!!)
But I will work hard tomorrow - after I've been to Sainburys (other supermarkets are available)

norose4 Thu 28-Sept-17 12:06:09

Blow it, I'll do the same

Chewbacca Thu 28-Sept-17 21:26:59

Can I sit down for 10 minutes? Been clearing out the garden shed for hours and I'm shattered.
Who does that male mannequin belong to? The one with only 1 arm?

FarNorth Thu 28-Sept-17 22:01:05

Dunno, Chewy.

Dinner time for me - tasty stew with veg chopped by my own fair hands.

Marydoll Thu 28-Sept-17 22:52:06

Faffing about in the garden. No motivation to do any work.
