We went to a local Panto with 4 of my grandchildren at Christmas and have all been singing the coffee pot song ever since. The last line is the best: “If I can’t have a proper cup of coffee in a proper copper coffee pot I’ll have a cup of tea”. My grandchildren took it back to Australia.

Many years ago we used to have French exchange students staying with us during the Easter and summer holidays. One of them taught me a French tongue twister. tous chasseurs sachant chasser doit savoir chasser sans son chiens (all hunters who know how to hunt should know how to hunt without their dogs)

She was very frustrated that I had no trouble with it - chiefly because the sounds are very common in the English language, but less so in French, so they tend to trip over it

To lower the tone ....

Urmstongran, we used to say a similar rhyme when playing ball. I can't remember the beginning, but the end went;

My father taught me that when I was about 7y.
