It’s that time of year again, we are packing up and heading for the meadow with all our paraphernalia....picnic baskets, tents, chairs etc and we may be there for some time.
No husbands/partners/children/pets allowed, just GN members .....this is our little holiday after all.?
No rules, just alphabetical as usual, let your imagination run wild ( we had elephants last year.)

Queens crowns/coronets crown......we could all wear one, even Rufus.
I thought I could hear my name being taken in vain!
Remember, I wasn't born yesterday and au fait with all your feminine wiles. I'll be wearing my army-surplus tin hat complete with camouflage netting as I come swinging out of those trees singing "I'm the King of the Jungle"; after all there might be a welcoming party armed soup ladles and stale rock cakes. grin
Btw. could you please leave my doggy bags of left-overs by the 5-bar gate; I assume the English meadow has one?
Thank you! smile

Of course Rufus you are most welcome, but do be careful swinging through the silver birches, you could put your back out.We do have a gate to our meadow, you could have a swing on that if you like?Far safer!

Wasp swatter......our jam sarnies are attracting them????????

Wasp swatter......our jam sarnies are attracting them??
With your current "summer" all their nests must be flooded!
I'm not a DH so I thought I was already invited, but thanks again!
And on second thoughts it not my back I'll be worried about! Currently I'm wallowing in heaps of nostalgia in MacArthur Park; why not join me? You can leave all your Jamboree cakes out in the rain, except ,of course, the ones you've put on one side for my imminent birthday! You're too kind! grin

I meant that you were most welcome to swing in through the trees and surprise us Rufus ( you are already in our meadow eating all our food! ?)Bring some cooked prawns from your barby/barbie ?Yummy.
We don’t mind a drop of rain, we have all weather gear.?

Eh! What I had in mind would really be a surprise, but the only swinging I'm planning now is to swing by that 5bar gate to pick up those doggy bags. And forget the prawns Yuk! shock
