What is your chocolate treat of choice??

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 17:18:20

Same question as before please!

lovebeigecardigans1955 Mon 10-May-21 17:16:12

Apart from my wedding and eternity rings, I've a pair of earrings which I bought from a supermarket - dangly ones with a half disc, curved side down if you see what I mean.

Have you ever been in a relationship with a large age gap?

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 17:11:13

Nah, I'm not keen on eating out. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't ever eat out again.

What is your favourite piece of Jewellery?

AGAA4 Mon 10-May-21 17:03:50

Sometimes if I am sure they will find it funny.

Have you been out to a restaurant yet?

grannylyn65 Mon 10-May-21 16:23:03

Am sure I remember Chomp from years ago, it was orange

Mollygo Mon 10-May-21 16:19:12

Custard tart from M&S, doughnuts from Sainsbury's. Thank heavens they’re both a good distance away so not a daily treat!

Do you ever buy ‘funny’ birthday cards for friends?

BBbevan Mon 10-May-21 15:09:07

FannyC thanks, our garden is a lot of work but keeps us fit

I very rarely listen to the radio, but do like Aled Jones .

Doughnut or custard tart ?

Mollygo Mon 10-May-21 14:23:25

cb1963, I’d say cappuccino, except that means I’m old! I don’t really drink coffee except when dining out.

FC I’m using your question.
Who is your favourite radio presenter?

cb1963 Mon 10-May-21 14:13:33

The kitchen has to be the next project on our to do list. It's starting to look a little tired now ( does anyone remember Artex ceilings). Trying to find a tradesperson that isn't booked up for the next 6 months is proving difficult.

Do you have a favourite coffee type?

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 14:08:43

Don't ask Kim! I'm not even going there! smile

Used to collect Hummel figurines but disposed of them in clearout.

What is the next majorish home improvement you plan?

Mollygo Mon 10-May-21 10:58:05

I’d heard of (not joined) the pylon appreciation society. I love the cloud one and I think I’ll join. This morning, clouds here are really interesting.

Did you used to or do you still collect any sort of ornament?

henetha Mon 10-May-21 10:35:56

Hi FC. Yes, I've belonged to the Cloud Appreciation Society for years. It cost me £4 and I received a badge and a certificate, and now I get regular emails telling me all about unusual cloud formations which people have seen, and lots of information about clouds and weather. They organised meet-ups in exotic places until Covid arrived.

Back to question about university..
No, sadly didn't go to university. But in my 40's I enrolled at a local college and did some more O levels and 2 A levels which took me 8 years to achieve. And I loved it.

Did you know there is also a Pylon Appreciation Society, and another one for Roundabouts (as in traffic) ?

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 06:16:33

BBbevan your garden sounds fabulous

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 06:15:27

Oh! Cross post!
I'm miles away!

I modified my school uniform to my liking, so yes. It would have taken ever to get ready if we didn't have a uniform!

Same question as above please

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 06:13:25

No, but now you've mention it, I think that I will get a couple of little fruit trees.

Have you been to university? What did you study?
If not, what you like to study if you had the chance?

BBbevan Mon 10-May-21 06:04:25

We have several fruit trees in the garden. 4 apple , one pear and two damson. Also a fig and an olive. We also have a strawberry cage. Last year we had a bumper crop of pears.

Did you like your school uniform ?

Mollygo Mon 10-May-21 04:01:37

Nesquick breakfast cereal. My DGS lectures me about Nestlé but I sometimes have it instead of Granola.

Are you growing any fruit this year?

FannyCornforth Mon 10-May-21 03:11:10

Yes. They are holding back the evictions though. It appears that tomorrow could be very volatile.

What is your guilty pleasure food wise? I love super noodles!

hollysteers Sun 09-May-21 13:37:11

Not for the 17th itself, but two bus day trips after that, yay!

Do you think Israel is too draconian regarding Palestine?

Mollygo Sun 09-May-21 11:26:28

I don’t really read many humorous books, perhaps that could be a target for 2021. I do remember being given Mrs Brown’s family handbook, which was funny if you like Mrs Brown. Can you recommend any?

Have you got anything planned for May 17?

FannyCornforth Sun 09-May-21 11:11:18

Ooh, never heard of it! Must look it up. Can you tell us bit about it Henetha please?

What is your favourite humourous book?

henetha Sun 09-May-21 11:08:24

Gloria Gaynor, in Torquay in the 80's. She was fantastic and we all stood up and joined in when she sang 'I will Survive'.

Do any of you belong to The Cloud Appreciation Society?

FannyCornforth Sun 09-May-21 08:19:22

I prefer baths, and the sun has just come out!

Who is the best band or singer that you have seen live?

Mollygo Sun 09-May-21 07:57:08

Aromatics in Black by Clinique.

It’s finally stopped raining here!
