Hello Hipsy, I haven't seen your name before. I don't think presents get any better than that!

No, no I haven't, I've got some salad potatoes in the fridge that need
cooking - so thanks for the reminder!

Why are you awake at this early hour?

DanniRae Mon 26-Apr-21 07:51:12

FannyCornforth - just to say that you really shouldn't keep potatoes in the fridge. Sorry can't remember why but it's a real no no.

hollysteers Mon 26-Apr-21 09:19:42

Where is the question?

FannyCornforth Mon 26-Apr-21 09:48:12

Savvy Mon 26-Apr-21 11:27:33

When I first moved into my flat, I'm lucky enough to have a front and back garden, I said to a gardening friend that I was supposed to wait a year to see what was growing in the gardens. His reply was priceless, 'I can tell you now whats growing in your gardens, weeds love, nothing but weeds.'

FannyCornforth Tue 27-Apr-21 19:55:51

Ooh that's interesting Holly - I've been listening to a book called The Husband Hunters which is brilliant and has a similar theme to Wharton's book, and it also references it.
I'm on antidepressants, so the answer to your question should be 'yes', but it's really anxiety that I have. I was diagnosed with GAD thirty years ago - before anxiety was 'a thing'.
