FannyCornforth - just to say that you really shouldn't keep potatoes in the fridge. Sorry can't remember why but it's a real no no.

Summer clothes are at the front of the wardrobe, yes, but woollies are still there too!

Yes magpies and currawongs but they are in tall trees.

When I first moved into my flat, I'm lucky enough to have a front and back garden, I said to a gardening friend that I was supposed to wait a year to see what was growing in the gardens. His reply was priceless, 'I can tell you now whats growing in your gardens, weeds love, nothing but weeds.'

Do you have a wildlife or fish pond?

No, just a bird bath.

Have you ever narrowly missed death?

Yes, all related to sailing.

How often do you see your grand children?

Grandson - We care for him 2 days a week
Granddaughter - She's only 8 weeks old and we see her, at the moment, once a week

Tea, definitely. Night owl or morning lark?

Sort of neither... sleep at midnight, up at 8am.

Groceries, do you prefer click and collect or home delivery?

I'm disabled and I don't drive, so it has to be home delivery.

Rose Macauley Letters and before that The Buccaneers by Edith Wharton.

Have you been depressed during lockdown?

No not depressed , just bored .

Do you like to listen to audio books?

Ooh that's interesting Holly - I've been listening to a book called The Husband Hunters which is brilliant and has a similar theme to Wharton's book, and it also references it.
I'm on antidepressants, so the answer to your question should be 'yes', but it's really anxiety that I have. I was diagnosed with GAD thirty years ago - before anxiety was 'a thing'.

What colour clothes suit you? Have you looked into what 'season' you are?
