Pretty routine but I love its slow gentleness.

How often do your children communicate with you?

One of them whatsapp's me every day. The other one not so much, every two or three weeks.

Do you have family holidays, or prefer just you and your partner?

I don't have enough family to holiday with them

I've got some clown parked outside (probably one of 'the lunatics' next door) playing rubbish on his stereo.

Are you a serous garden pot addict like me?

Yes, nearly everything I grow is in pots. I've got too many!

Are you on a diet of any sort at the moment?

I am always watching my weight not always successfully,

Do you have a foreign holiday booked and do you feel comfortable about it,

Yes, next year and yes I’m happy so far.
Yes this summer with family and not so happy about that.

Have you found an easy way to change bedding on a double bed?

Yes, I get someone else to do it!Lol

How often do go shopping? Once a week, big shop, several times a week, monthly, or something else?

I get everything delivered.
Weekly shop from Ocado.
I've also recently been doing little shops from the co-op. - they deliver within two hours! It's amazing!

What was the last thing that you bought yourself as a 'treat'?

A very naughty coffee roulade from the freezer cabinet at Sainsbury's - I knew I shouldn't have but it looked so lovely and it was delicious.

Can you describe your house?

A small detached (two bedroom and a box room which I use as an office) and an unusual "back to front" arrangement, The front door is in a private road with no vehicle access and the kitchen door is where deliveries and visitors usually arrive. Quiet leafy suburb.

Have you used online grocery delivery from a supermarket and if so how did you find it?

Never have


Have you ever done any sort of fasting plan, I am on 16/8 and as I am never hungry in the morning find it quite easy

I only eat one meal a day. It's not a plan, it's just how I am. You'd never know to look at me, but then my metabolism is shot!

Do you have a favourite spectator sport?

Football ? ⚽️ . I’m a season ticket holder and have been to 2 matches this season, one of 2000 permitted.

I would have to agree with you on that one. I can't remember being without either if I'm honest but the TV would have to stay. I don't listen to the radio very often.

Have you ever accepted a random offer of kindness from a stranger?

A lift by a stranger in a car when mine broke down about a mile from the office I worked. (nearly 40 years ago)
I was in my 8th month of pregnancy and it was an icy morning.
I felt uneasy about doing it but it turned out to be fine.

Are you good at trying new things ?

Not really, it takes me weeks to even wear new clothes..?

Is an active sex life important to you? It doesn’t concern me at all and I have been celibate for nearly 30 years. Rather have a cup of tea and watch Emmerdale to be honest ?

It used to be, but after breast cancer and the hormonal medication, my sex drive has practically disappeared.

Do you feel closer/more alike to one of your children? (Not that you would ever admit it openly, I hope)

I was a less favored child and it caused me so much misery that I chose never to have children. I do have a favorite nephew though!

If you were making love with your partner and someone knocked at the door would you stop to answer is?

Absolutely not.

Are you finding moving out of lockdown difficult?

Not as much as I thought I might. Gym’s is open, town is open (though I still wear a mask if it’s crowded) and we met for outdoor choir tonight. It’s just the thought of a hotel if I want to see my family, that I’m uneasy about.

Last year, people talked about doing DIY since they couldn’t go out. Have you been busy since January.

Oh yes, built a large gazebo in the garden.
