Hello Everyone! ?
Lovely new Spring thread!?️?️???

What is your chocolate treat of choice??

Mollygo Fri 21-May-21 06:35:19

The Snow Queen.
The last thing wasn’t a play, but the last thing I saw at the theatre was a performance by Fascinating Aïda. Very funny if a little bit smutty.

Would you still go to a pop concert?

Shinamae Fri 21-May-21 07:32:27

Never have, never will

Do you follow a morning and nighttime skincare routine? If so what?

biglouis Fri 21-May-21 09:09:19

Im in my 70s now so I dont really bother with cosmetics. Just plain water.

Do you have any really annoying neighbours that you deliberately keep at arms length?

hollysteers Fri 21-May-21 10:05:33

No problems with neighbours now thank goodness. One side have a large family and I like the sound of the children playing. The other neighbour is very private. When she moved in, I invited her in for a cup of tea, but she obviously wants to be left alone, practically a hermit, which I respect. Before her we had a couple with dogs barking all day, it made my poor late husband’s life a misery as he loved to garden.

What do you remember playing in the nativity play at school?

Bridgeit Fri 21-May-21 11:49:08

Have you ever made or repaired in anything in a 'Heath Robinson' way which is useful?

Kim19 Fri 21-May-21 13:34:25

Yes. Recently knocked up a pair of window screens from an old sheet. Supported by old electric cable and 'secured' at either end with sucker hooks. Doing the job I wanted perfectly. Tradespeople would perhaps weep......

Have you an old furniture item?

Mollygo Fri 21-May-21 13:57:03

Yes, a little leather set of drawers. I kept my needlework things in there, but gradually other bits and coins like my 3d collection have crept in.

Psychological horror for me

Cremation or burial, cremation for me and very very simple one at that

biglouis Fri 21-May-21 23:11:28

Regard them as just a vulgar show for the world. Mourning is done in the heart. I have not been to one for over 25 years. Would prefer one that is as cheap and simple as possible. Cremation for sure.

What is your favourite coffee, i.e. latte, cappuccino

FannyCornforth Sat 22-May-21 03:22:22

I drink Little's flavoured coffee at home.
About four years ago I was introduced to Starbucks (very late to that particular party). It was when I was back at university as a mature student. Seems a lifetime ago...
I digress. Anyway, I loved their frappéccino (sp?), basically a huge iced coffee with lots of whipped cream on the top.
