Summer. In between seasons confuse me, I don’t know what to wear.

Do you reuse wrapping paper?

If it’s salvageable yes I do!


Do you have any part of your garden that is wild or a wildlife pond?

Yes very large pond. Lots of newts at the moment.

Do you wash out tins, yogurt pots etc before putting in re cycling ?

Always

Are you related to someone famous, past or present?

Tins yes. Yoghurt pots not always. Scraped clean.

Do you girls realise that there is a Lloyds Bank scam doing the rounds. Thought I’d put in as just got one.

Yes, but only by their marriage. Not going to say who they are and no, I've never met them.

Do you prefer pop music or classical?

Both. But it's popular music which I listen to most. Anything from Frank Sinatra to Ed Sheeran and lots in between.
My absolute favourite being Queen.

Are you planting summer flowers yet, or is it too early?

I’ve planted pansies already. Fingers crossed!??

Wild garden, no need to plant anything ?

How many pairs of shoes do you have? (I have six including two pairs of boots)

Far too many! I tend to use shoes, bags, scarves etc. to update my wardrobe rather than buy a new outfit.
Since Covid I have used my wellies or trainers far more than ever expected !

Not a thing.

Oh yes that was top of my list.

Do you still have friends from childhood?

Sadly I've lost touch with my best school friend but I have a couple of class mates I lunch with from time to time - it's been a while.

When was the last time you used cash for a purchase?

Two days ago, for milk and bread.

Is it now busy where you live?

No. I live in the countryside and it is rarely busy here.

Do you have any new hobbies?

Not really new, but I have returned to drawing, painting and cycling.

Handwritten, very rarely and usually on a card. I still exchange letters with some friends I have known for ages, but they’re typed.

Are you or your neighbours hanging out washing again?

I am. It's great. And some of my neighbours too, I notice.

Not likely, weather far too unpredictable

Do you live in an area likely to be inundated with people now that the lockdown has eased somewhat?

No, living within a city boundary so just a handful of small parks.

Are you visiting a National Trust property over the Easter weekend for a walk?

No, I've been to most of the ones nearby and if they're busy it won't be enjoyable. Having previously lived at the seaside we learned that it was better to spend Bank Holidays in the garden to avoid crowds.
