Grown Ups! Hubby and I have a big one each.

Do you have traditional roast lamb dinner on Easter Day?

I would love to, but no, can't afford it on my own. But I have got some lamb cutlets in the freezer so will do a mini roast.

Gardeners, do you plant lots of things in the ground, or do you mainly use pots and containers?

Half and half, pots and borders.

I remember making them at school but don't think I've made them since - too much faff.

It would be festooned with spring flowers and lots of brightly coloured bows.

Do you enjoy gardening?

Yes, in short bursts but I really enjoy sitting in the garden with company, or a book.

Do you have hot cross buns at breakfast time?

We don’t have breakfast, just brunch at weekends. So we would have a toasted hot cross bun mid afternoon with a cup of tea.

Are you expecing an Easter egg ?

No. No one have ever thought of giving me one.

I don't think that I've ever had a special Easter meal. I don't really know what an Easter meal is

Tell me about your best friend

I have known my best friend for over 40 years and we have been there for each other throughout all the life stages. I love her dearly. We don’t stop laughing and have cried together. She’s simply the best.

Question. Have you ever been on court jury service? If so what is it like ?

I haven't, but I've had friends who have and they said that unless you get called for an actual case, it can be quite boring. Apparently not everyone called, gets to sit on a case, they just have to be there in case they're needed.

Are you still in contact with anyone you were at a school with?

Just one girl. We stayed together through primary and high school then stayed in touch through uni, weddings and on till now. I have a few friends from uni too.

Have you watched The Sound of Music more than once?

Yes, 2 or possibly 3 times

Would you go vegan to save the planet?

I'd love to go vegan (I'm a pescatarian, and hardly eat any fish).
But I'd find it very difficult to give up butter and cheese. I'm very weak around cheese!
And I'd do it for the animals rather than the planet.

I like Vera, not sure it is a soap opera though

Just my 2 squares of dark chocolate like every evening.

Ha ha! No. It's one of the few complaints I don't have!
