On another thread, (about hijacking threads, if you want to find it) this was suggested as a potential thread title - each post to have nothing whatever to do with the previous one I though that a very good idea, but no-one seems to have taken it up and started one, so here goes. Not a conversation, no sequencing, totally non sequiturs.

I hate meat-free Fridays - my mum’s catholic tradition and I like to maintain it, to honour her ...

I’ve eaten too much rubbish today, pizzas, deep fried eggplant chips, chocolate. Tomorrow will be fish and veg and fruit only. Still I did finish my patchwork quilt off and caught up with a couple of friends on the phone. Still feel fat though.

About 3 days ago, I scattered lush-lawn stuff on my lawn and it needs rain to soak it in.
Despite repeatedly looking like rain, and even spit-spotting a bit, there has been no rain yet.

So much for the planned lie-in. The recycling team turned up at 7, two days late and we’d taken it all in. Dashed down and dragged it out again, cleaned the kitchen, had my porridge. I’m now considering going back to bed.

I'm sick to death of my garden. It takes all my time and energy. I'd like to concrete it over.

Bit of a boring day today. It's raining off and on but did get a bit of a walk this morning through some orchards.
Planted out my hanging baskets yesterday so rain is good, I suppose.

Just left a zoom call but why am I always so grey? Everyone else is brightly coloured but my screen is dull and grey so I look ill.
