Yes I do, and Parma Violets, Fruit Salads and loose sherbet which was bought by the penny worth.

No breakfast. I do 16-8 fast so eat a sort of brunch about noon.

Do you look good in a swimsuit?

can’t swim, won’t swim, …I look horrible in a swimsuit, that’s why !!!!!

I love the sea and yes, I swim in it abroad. I love to go out on boats, but only with someone knowledgeable in charge.

Our gym does open water swimming training. Would you/do you do that?

I grew up with lots of chickens and sometimes slept in the chicken house. (In the summer when my bedroom was let out to paying guests).

Yes - I do 20 push ups against the kitchen counter and some balance exercises (but my balance is getting worse....I am calling the doctor today!)

No - I never dated anyone even a little bit famous. The nearest I came was in meeting backstage a pop star of the 1950s called Del Shannon. I also met Lulu and the Seekers in the same session.

Do you have any regular morning exercise routines?

I have some for my arthritis - they stop my joints freezing up.

I used to have a pair of flyknit trainers that were like a sock and didn’t wear any underneath but they got a bit stinky after a while. Now I have normal trainers and wear low ankle socks with them and they stay lovely and fresh but for some reason when I walk the socks sometimes slip down and bunch up under my midsole which is rather annoying.

Have you ever dated anyone famous, even if they were only a little bit famous?

I once went on a date with a man who was the captain of Great Britain in a particular sport - I thought he was amazing - I mustn’t have been amazing enough though as I never heard from him again ooops !

Driving around America in a luxury motorhome for six months. Then another six months doing the same in Australia.

Do you always wear socks with your trainers?

Never in the UK but in countries like Afghanistan and Iran when I was younger and went on landrover treks. It was an interesting way to see the country. I would not camp now.

If you could have any kind of holiday anywhere in the world with no expense spared, what would it be?

I would like to see the Galapagos Islands and in particular the giant tortoises as I have always loved tortoises. But I would like my own personal guide and chauffeur because my mobility is poor.

I don't know if we have a local Turkish barber.
Oddly 60 yrs ago I went to school with a girl whose dad owned a Turkish barbers.

No I didn’t put a rainbow picture up, but I enjoyed looking at the huge variety of rainbows that others put up. A local school made a rainbow of handprints, so that every child was involved.

There’s an influx of ‘Turkish’ barbers near us and lots of men seem to be better groomed than usual.

I got depressed sometimes when I was younger mainly due to the usual stuff - bullying, failed relationships.
