I shop for groceries online so no I dont get to read the labels

I enjoy autumn because sometimes we have better weather in september than in summer.

My favourite season is spring because of the promise of fresh flowers and I dislike the heat.

Did you learn your multiplication tables by chanting them at school? Can you still recite them?

It was considered old-fashioned so was dropped by my school and my lack of knowledge has always been embarrassing.

Yes - I can chant up to 20 times tables….and more at a slower pace

Do you ritualistically brush your hair 100 times at night?

No, it’s curly so it doesn’t respond well to brushing.
I’m actually dying my hair as I type - I’m doing the waiting part!

Have been dyeing my hair for the 25 years., always dark brown.

Oh about 85 I should think?

There is no right age. I don’t believe in growing old gracefully.
One doesn’t have to make a fool of oneself, but it’s good to stay youthful and keep an open mind. Forget Fifty Shades of Beige and do what you like!

Do you ever shop in Primark?

I don't drink loads of it, but I do love tea.
And, yes, I do shop in Primark.

I would never eat meat .

What is your dream day / evening out?

I used to really enjoy going to big antique markets. However mobility issues (and covid) have put a stop to that.

When you were a child did you have an imaginary companion?

I had one called "Tibbs" because I often played alone and my mother was not into lets pretend games.

No. I was an only child and happy in my own company!
My aunts had an imaginary horse. She left it outside the butchers on Quarry Bank high street, and my Nan had to take her all the way back to collect it!

Don’t make me laugh. I have two left feet. Hated sports at school.

What sport did you play at school ?

Lacrosse. It was the only sport I was ever any good at. Perhaps I felt more threatening with a weapon raised higher than my ankles.

Depends on in-house temperature. Could be single sheet, lightweight duvet or the full works.

What's your next really big 'looking forward to'?

Ive closed my business for the entire month of August and I look forward to some unwinding time just relaxing.

What were your favorite and most detested subjects at school?

Hated - sport and maths. (I wasnt bottom in maths by a long way but the maths teacher always seemed to pick on me)

Loved - French, English language, literature and history.

Loved art and English Lit , hated Physics.

Are you left or right handed or ambidextrous?

BBbevan had we been at school together I think that we would have been good friends!
