Yes, sort of. I've a place where I put things waiting to be mended or altered. I like sewing.

In between projects I use odd bits of wool to knit a scarf for the homeless. This is what I am doing now. I asked on here a while ago for a place to send the scarves and, as you would expect, someone came up with a suitable place and that's where they go!

It'll be one of my home-made summer dresses - they wouldn't trouble TGB Sewing Bee but they're cool and comfortable.

I swear A LOT at home because I live alone and there is no one to hear me! The other day I sat down to eat a meal and found I had brought in two knives instead of a knife and fork. The air was BLUE!

How long is it since you had a stay in hospital?

My last overnight stay in hospital was 32 years ago when my son was born plus a couple of day procedures since.

I hate baking or anything to do with housework which is why I have a cleaner. My nephew brings me 5 home made meals a week and I just stick them in the microwave. My excuse is I am 76 this year and just cant be bothered.

I do both, I'm currently knitting a jumper and I've been an avid cross stitcher since my teens. It takes me ages to do, but keeps my fingers moving.

Did try the guitar once but never got further than 3 chords! No gift for it although I did have a good singing voice.
