No, but it is normal to have a few regrets.

Do you have a bag of mending?

Yes, sort of. I've a place where I put things waiting to be mended or altered. I like sewing.

Are you knitting or crocheting anything at the moment, or plan to?

In between projects I use odd bits of wool to knit a scarf for the homeless. This is what I am doing now. I asked on here a while ago for a place to send the scarves and, as you would expect, someone came up with a suitable place and that's where they go!

What is your go-to outfit in this lovely weather?

It'll be one of my home-made summer dresses - they wouldn't trouble TGB Sewing Bee but they're cool and comfortable.

Do you swear much (in the privacy of your own home - no-one listening) when you've a build-up of mild annoyance?

I swear A LOT at home because I live alone and there is no one to hear me! The other day I sat down to eat a meal and found I had brought in two knives instead of a knife and fork. The air was BLUE!

How long is it since you had a stay in hospital?

My last overnight stay in hospital was 32 years ago when my son was born plus a couple of day procedures since.

Do you have an house plants?

Yes loads and an ancient Swiss cheese plant called Stuart !

Do you enjoy baking?

I hate baking or anything to do with housework which is why I have a cleaner. My nephew brings me 5 home made meals a week and I just stick them in the microwave. My excuse is I am 76 this year and just cant be bothered.

Have you ever done any hand knitting or embroidery?

I do both, I'm currently knitting a jumper and I've been an avid cross stitcher since my teens. It takes me ages to do, but keeps my fingers moving.

Do you have a daily ritual?

Make up on and cleansed off and some puzzle daily challenges that I ‘must’ do.

Have you stayed in an hotel since the start of Covid?

No, we have been nowhere.

What is your favourite tree ? Mine is laburnum

Definitely an oak tree.

Have you booked a holiday in the UK this year?

No, but am thinking about long weekends in various places and staying with my daughter and sister in the south of England.

Do you like to have matching underwear?

No - not bothered about it matching as long as it is comfortable!

Have you ever been to a medium and did you get the result that you wished for?

No way. I know one, though and she is a lovely person. It is against my religion to consult with them, though.

Do you have a favourite gemstone?

Yes - I love amethyst followed by emerald. Neither are my birthstone however.

Do you usually wear a wristwatch?

No, I rely on my mobile for telling the time.
Any plans for the weekend?

Second covid jab tomorrow, got some plants to put in tubs on Sunday.

What's your favourite day of the week?

Sunday . Day of rest . No work or chores of any kind, just socialising and having fun .

Can you play a musical instrument?

Did try the guitar once but never got further than 3 chords! No gift for it although I did have a good singing voice.
