Word games such as scrabble on line/ words with friends.
Card games with the oh, which I love. Crib, Euchre, and another we call Sherpa.

We are great games players. Dominos, scrabble, card games and monopoly. Draughts with the grandchildren and jigsaw puzzles. Far more fun than mindless TV. Reading when on my own is great but an evening of games and laughter can’t be beaten in our house.

I like logic games so Addoku is one of my favourites. I also do a cryptic crossword every day. I play board games with my grandchildren and I play backgammon against my computer. I can, if pushed, play chess but I never seem to have enough time to think what I am intending to do and am really not very good. I am better at Chinese chequers.

I should like to be able to play cribbage, a game my mother taught me and I used to play with my extended family. The two grandsons who I see most often are probably a wee bit too young, but I might show them how in the not too distant future. Mr absent is not interested.

My preference is always to stick my nose in a book or magazine, whether the real thing, or on a screen or Kindle.

I have absolutely no interest in playing games and I have no idea why.

Same here, M0nica, but I can’t say I have ever wondered why. I just find games a boring waste of time. Looking out of the window has more point.

I play a hand eye coordination game on this machine called Panda. Love it. Totally free and constant challenge. Think I'm up to 950 now.

I’ve played June’s Journey on my iPad for years. Totally mindless fun.
I was playing Cards against Humanity last night with friends. Much wine and a wicked sense of humour required. Not for the faint hearted.

Mind games? I play that stupid Fishdom game on the computer and have done for years. Totally and utterly mindless. Also Cubis. Ditto. Played Sequence with friends for the first time last week, that was fun.
