Hello again and Merry Christmas Questioners and Answerers!?

Not ‘what is the best present that you have received?’, instead;

What is the best present that you have given?
Are you a good gifter?

(I’m going to have to think about it, but I do think that I’m rather good at choosing presents)

BBbevan Sat 15-Jan-22 11:17:52

Yes they are and I have lots of earrings. I went and had them done in my late teens. My mother always said pierced ears were common. Luckily my hair covered my ears and she didn’t notice for some time.
Do you have any other piercings?

DanniRae Sat 15-Jan-22 11:21:57

Yes my ears are pierced - had them done when I left school at 16. I sometimes wear earrings that can stay in night and day - usually silver studs - and sometimes wear ones that I need to remove to go to sleep - silver hoops. I have never regretted getting my ears pierced as I love wearing earrings and don't feel 'dressed' without them.

What jewellery do you wear every day?

AGAA4 Sat 15-Jan-22 11:47:35

I only wear jewellery when I go out and then not much. I have a drawer full of it mostly given to me
by my DH.

Have you ever scuba dived?

lovebeigecardigans1955 Sat 15-Jan-22 13:33:52

No, I'm not very keen on going underwater - it frightens me. The underwater world looks fascinating but I'm not going there.

Same question again.

biglouis Sat 15-Jan-22 14:10:25

Oh nooooooo! I cant even swim. But love watching underwater documentaries.

Have you ever done bungy diving, parachuting, or anything along those lines where you are at a great height?

Im too scared of heights.

Mollygo Sat 15-Jan-22 14:19:47

I climbed a cliff face with school children as part of an abseiling activity in my thirties, but I refused to join the fundraiser abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower. I couldn’t even walk across the glass floor at the top.

It’s brilliant sunshine here today. Would you go for a walk if it’s like that near you?

AGAA4 Sat 15-Jan-22 16:08:41

I go for a walk most days as long as it's dry. I don't enjoy walking in heavy rain.

Do you find any part of the day particularly enjoyable or tedious?

ninathenana Sat 15-Jan-22 17:43:37

Love it when we settle down in the evening together.

What are your plans for tomorrow ?

BBbevan Sat 15-Jan-22 17:52:53

Well we were going out to a garden centre but the car has refused to start ( ongoing problem been in garage for a week to repair) So we are waiting for the AA. So might be at home tomorrow. Can we go back to a question of mine that was not answered.

Do you have any piercings?

Mollygo Sat 15-Jan-22 17:56:46

Missed that one. I have pierced ears and can wear one earring on each side. Never really fancied more, and pierced tongues make me gag.

I’d love to know if anyone has been adventurous with piercings.

hollysteers Sun 16-Jan-22 11:35:43

Not me.

Do you vote the same way as your parents?

AGAA4 Sun 16-Jan-22 11:39:42

No. I made my own mind up about how I wanted to vote.

Do you think there should be a change to the voting system?

Billybob4491 Mon 17-Jan-22 08:20:43

Yes I would welcome a change to the voting system

What makes you happy?

Mollygo Mon 17-Jan-22 08:29:41

At the moment? Not watching the news. Usually, meeting up with family or relaxing with a cup of tea and a book.

Yesterday a horse-drawn hearse with a glass carriage stopped outside our house to let traffic past. Have you ever seen one?

crazyH Mon 17-Jan-22 10:33:49

No, not seen one.

Are you cutting down on heating, due to rising costs ?

BBbevan Mon 17-Jan-22 11:33:27

Well we mostly use oil and wood, and we have a full tank of oil at the moment. We do often just light the fire and sit in that room though.

Just made a veggie spag Bol. First time without ‘real meat’
Are you trying to eat more plant based food ?

AGAA4 Mon 17-Jan-22 13:23:58

I haven't eaten much meat for a long time now.

What is the hobby you enjoy most?

Mollygo Mon 17-Jan-22 13:29:56

Not really. We eat less meat than we used to and a lot more veg, but anything with soya in is not for me.

Does anyone else find that eating more vegetables especially broccoli, cauliflower and onions causes more flatulence than usual, (including methane)?

biglouis Mon 17-Jan-22 18:25:02

I eat plenty of veggies and I dont find this.

Do you have any purchase plans for next seasons wardrobe?

I dont go out much (mobility issues) but I definitely need new smartish flat shoes.

hollysteers Mon 17-Jan-22 20:44:35

I don’t really buy for seasons and not shopping in lockdown made me realise I have every season covered already…

You own a ridiculous amount of…?
(In my case, make up)

AGAA4 Mon 17-Jan-22 21:03:15

Knickers! I have enough pairs to last me a few months if I didn't wash them.

Same question again.

FannyCornforth Tue 18-Jan-22 03:32:01

Loads of things
Dresses (all very similar), socks, books, pens (every conceivable type)

Is it very foggy where you are? It is here

BBbevan Tue 18-Jan-22 05:45:20

It's still dark though a little misty around the street lights. We usually get sea fog which rolls in and then dispersed.

Do you think every morning ' What shall I do today?' or do you have a routine?

Billybob4491 Tue 18-Jan-22 09:31:30

No I always have a routine.

Do you think the World has gone mad or is it just me?

FannyCornforth Tue 18-Jan-22 09:42:42

No, it’s not just you! Definitely not!
The wider world, and it seems my own little world too.

Do you have vivid dreams and/or nightmares?

I had an absolute epic of a psychological thriller and incredibly gory nightmare earlier this morning.

A bit like The Truman Show crossed with Saw (which I haven’t seen btw, I hate horror)

I do wonder where it all comes from
