After writing a couple of Christmas letters and a few cards, how nice it is to have a day at home, catching up with Gransnet but thinking I should invade the cellar and pull the tree out.

Wish I could sing. Miserable day, saw this film, Falling for Figaro, really feel good, bit sweary, romantic comedy. Left me longing to be able to sing.

Can I get the enthusiasm to take neighbours Xmas cards out and put through doors.
It would be nice if my DH started a conversations occasionally.

Thinking about the day of my son's birth, 31 years ago today!
All 3 of my labours started at 4:00 am, and he was my second child, born around 1:00 pm. Holding that little bundle, and glad he was early and not born right at Christmas! I hosted dinner for 12 that year.

Congrats Lauren59, I hope you get news soon. I do understand not wanting to pester with email, but being impatient to hear any updates.

Why am I scrolling through GN at this time of night? I think it’s time I went to bed.

It doesn’t matter if I turn into a vampire and stay up all night, I haven’t even watched the news yet.

I just can’t switch off . Thinking of how much Xmas to give children and grandchildren- as I’ve got older I’m getting more generous, for obvious reasons.
