and on we go.......

A hammer that's banging all day
Is one thing that my nerves will fray
It just goes Clang! Clang!
Think it's time that I rang
Sent a sound record to the king

He sent it to the local folks

The paradox is very clear
To many it will soon appear
Gran is daft and wise
It's her wise disguise
She's sharp but she's really a dear

Her IQ is really sky high

They say when you’re old you get wise,
Your life’s story is surely your prize
The wisdom some gain
Some treat with disdain
For me - it's the way love lies.

The paradox is very clear
To many it will soon appear

A person in their prime
Believes it will last all their time
Then one day they'll be old
With their story well told
And that is the end of this rhyme

They say when you're old you get wise

She left for a week at the spa
Accompanied by her cynical ma
They had a fab time
The pool was sublime
Then they went home in their car.

Her face like a dried landscape
Had lost its original shape
It started to droop
She walked with a stoop
It made all her friends stand and gape

She left for a week at the spa

She soon had a lovely tan
So much so, down her facet it ran!
She looked quite a sight
Especially at night
When on went the fan on the tan...

henetha

From Beer she moved to Margate
Which really was super great.
In summer, the crowds
Saw a sky with no clouds
For rain they'd a long time to wait.

She soon had a lovely tan

So much so, that it ran!
