This is not a good sign, methinks....

I keep reminding DH that when the dry summer was (wrongly) forecasted, he spent most of March telling everyone, 'This is just like 1976. You mark my words, it will rain on May 5th and then won't rain again until September.' What a pl***er

It is all very depressing isn't it? I have spent the last 2 months telling myself that summer is just around the corner when I suspect it has been and gone. In fact the North East seems to have missed it all together !

Living within spitting distance of the North Sea means that plants in my garden have quite a hard time of it already, what with the wind and the salty air. Add the rain rain and more rain and my garden is a sad state of affairs !
