I've just ordered. Hundreds of geraniums for the garden and the front patio. Also a morning glory, a mimosa and a?snail tree? Never knew snail had trees before! Watch this space.
I planted six hellebores at the weeked (3 for the price of 2 at local garden centre) Had one already so put them all together under a photinia Red Robin and will fill bed with snowdrops, crocus and bluebells so hopefully in Spring 2014 will look lovely!
I bought 4 brilliant white ones in B & Q a month ago they have so many blooms and hinted heavily to my daughters that I would lurrrrrrvvvvvve a pink one , but they were quite expensive, I really think they are so beautiful
Oh Jess - I love them - found pots of helebores for sale in a local supermarket today so bought two ready to go In a bed we are renovating. I put a lot of bulbs/ roots in at the last house but we then had a very wet winter and none of them came up. The ones I bought today are both creamy but I would also love to get a pinky one.
Far too cold to do much gardening in this chilly easterly wind we're having on this side of the country. The hellebores are out but they don't look like much when you peer out of the window, because they hang their little heads down. So here's what I did - went out and picked a dozen flower heads and floated them like water lilies in a bowl of water. Now I can see their lovely dappled petals and elaborate stamens.
