perennial plants for pots

My neighbour has a purple hydrangea in a pot, it is stunning! I have heard lots of good comments about it.
I liked a cloud-cut bush in my local garden centre last year, it was only £999 including the pot! cloud bush

I have various Hosta and Hellebores in pots they seem to do very well... Hardy Geraniums also come in various variety and colours.

Got three pots left over after putting in all the bedding plants. Anyone got any ideas about filling them with perennials. Nothing boring.....! I always like visitors to have debate and discussion in any garden I have. Any ideas anyone?
