Help! I have just noticed that the spring bulbs I planted 6 or 7 weeks ago are rearing their ugly pretty heads already. What to do? We have had such mild weather - even here on the east coast of Scotland. I am afraid when the frost comes they may not like it and then not appear at all. confused

We got our daffodil bulbs in early this year Marmight they are in large half barrels and they have been through for 3 weeks.we were concerned but can't do anything as they are too heavy to move so will have to keep everything crossed for a good outcome come the spring.

They will be just fine Marmight, Spring flowering bulbs are very hardy and don't mind a bit of frost, they will merely sleep till it warms up again... mine are all up in the pots I planted a few weeks ago the only thing you need to worry about are squirrels , they love to dig them up for a snack..
