Just been for a walk round the garden, couldn't believe my eyes, there was a Daffodil in full bloom. Our seasons have gone crazy.

Not suppose to bloom until 1st March ?

We have some too. If you look on the "this shouldn't be happening" thread many people have plants flowering out of season smile
Our gardens are going to be pretty sparse come spring.

Great clumps down the verges of the road between Crewkerne and Chard on Boxing Day.

I had my first 3 daffs on Christmas day.

Why aren't snowdrops out yet then? They usually come before daffodils, don't they?

Here in Herts we have had daffs, primroses and pulmonaria in bloom in our garden, since the week before Christmas. We have also seen some silly little bees buzzing round them.
My neighbour has snowdrops out.

I have Primroses and Snowdrops out no daffs though

I had two daffodils in full bloom on my lawn in mid December. Crazy !

My brother lives in West Dorset and when I spoke with him on Boxing Day he said he'd had daffodils in the garden for a couple of weeks and there were primroses in the hedgerows.

There were lots of daffs flowering on a grassy bank at the Eden Project on Saturday. We won't get them again in the spring. Let's hope they are not too confused to flower again in spring 2017.

Our daffs aren't quite out yet, but the earliest I've seen them in Devon this winter was on 12th December! There were several clumps of them in a bank beside the road, all in full bloom!

Yes I saw roadside clumps of daffs in full bloom in mid December too Indinana. Our garden ones are not quite there, but almost. I mentioned elsewhere that I'd seen birds with nesting material and it made me feel really sad. I wonder what our Spring will look like when it arrives ? Hopefully things will cool down a bit soon and the spring flowers will hibernate a bit longer.
