What is this plant?

Ive had this plant for 18yrs..bought it from Geoff Hamiltons garden-Barnsdale...its endured a house move and repeated chopping to give clumps away to friends..and beautiful perfume ?

Campanula lactiflora 'Rosea Nana or Campanula lactiflora 'Loddon Anna'. There. Back to the grind stone...

Its not daphne or Japanese Anemone. Maybe a type of nerine?? I will now not be able to concentrate on any work until I have found it....

I don't think it is Japanese Anemone, the leaves are wrong. The leaves do look a bit like Himalayan Balsam, but not the flowers - I hope!

I have the white "Honorine Jobert" Japanese anenome.

Looks like Japanese anemone, they come in pink, lavenders and white. Ours are in flower now. They do self seed easily.

Campanula is a thought but the flowers are smaller that the standard blue ones and not pendulous. The leaves are not like those either.

The blue one is called perestroika in our house nina - I love it.

Could it be a type of Campanula? They come in a wide variety, all sizes and white, pink, blue and purple.

Have a look on the RHS plant identification site and see if you can match it up.

looks like a type Canterbury bell - Campanula glomerata. Not sure, but a distinct possibility.

We've got the tall thin blueish one next to it no idea what the daisy shaped one is but it's pretty.

difficult to see close up but it does look a bit like the Daphne shrub.

It's really delicate and pretty. Percy Thrower I am not but it almost looks lily like. So hard to see it properly from the photo. If you find out, please tell me. I'd like to get one.

ps- If you can't remember planting it, hope it's not a weed!!!!

Can you show an enlargement of one of the leaves?
And maybe one of a flower, which seems to have a sort of button in the centre.
I'ts very pretty, no wonder you would like some more.
