I have a rhododendron which started producing flowers three weeks ago! Small, but perfect, flowers. It seems to have stopped again now!

The year my Grandad was born they were picking strawberries in England in February.

On Facebook they show you memories, About a month ago 2013/14 memory I had put a photograph of my deep red Virginia creeper and my Nerines in full bloom This year my nerines are just coming out and my Virginia creeper is just starting to turn slightly yellow so probably a month to 6 weeks later I do think our seasons have changed to later dates

Here in New Zealand we have had a very wet Winter and a pretty wet Spring. We are promised a very hot summer – about which we shall, no doubt complain because we are all too hot. Today was the second consecutive day for ages when it didn't rain and hadn't rained overnight, although the ground is still quite boggy. Hours of weeding and planting over the weekend were messy and exhausting, but hugely satisfying and I m looking forward to enjoying the fruits of labours.

Mum's neighbour used to grow prize winning Chrysaths. Beautiful blooms the size of a side plate. The exhibitions for which were mid September if I remember rightly so going by that I thought the ones I have were blooming a month or so later.

I've not noticed much change. TBH I don't believe that we are going through anything that has not happened before. It's all cyclical but in a huge way. The Romans used to grow grapes in Newcastle, whole oxen used to roasted on a frozen River Thames, my Dad saw eggs fried on London pavements in his youth...........need I say more?

I thought that chrysanths and primulas were winter flowering anyway - I put them in my pots for the winter for a bit of colour.

We still have a couple of roses flowering, but that't not unusual, I have noticed them flowering up until Christmas in past years. The pelargoniums are still flowering away out there - again, they often flower all winter if it's mild but other winters they don't survive outside.
The lawn seems to have stopped growing now.

In 1987 when we had the hurricane (which didn't happen ) a lot of trees were blown down because they still had most of their leaves.
In fact, today is the anniversary of that Great Storm.

Yes at the moment I have a primula which flowered in Spring just come into flower again and I have a strawberry plant just started reflowering I took photos as it was so unusual

Yes the grass is growing when it should be dormant in both Autumn/Winter and Winter/Spring. Daffodils and my cherry tree were flowering very early as well.

No not a lot. The leaves fall later though in November and winter is longer through to March. So I mean yes don't I?
