I'll try it! Won't do any harm. It does have mildew, I found that this morning when I had a better look with my glasses on!

Don't quote me, but I read recently, (could it have been April 1st), that a solution of one third milk, to two thirds water, and sprayed onto diseased roses, was good for them.!!!

Oh I didn't think of being infectious - great. Was going to move it but now I will just leave it where it is. TY J52.
Will look on DA site and see how to do that, thanks Nfk!

It could be Rose canker or powdery mildew. Both are infectious to other roses. You might save it by cutting out the infected stem. But it is important to disinfect your pruners otherwise it will spread.

Send that picture to David Austin. I've found them very helpful in the past.

This is a David Austin rose that I paid a lot for and love very much. I noticed it's all diseased looking with the stems all blotchy and spotty and breaking off, all withered looking. Does anybody know what it might be and how to fix it?
