Any suggestions for quick privacy?

In shoos like Home Bargains and B & M, they sell the expanding vine or ivy covered plastic trellis which I think looks attractive. You could attach it with ties (like tree ties) along the middle of the height of it to the top of your fence.

I have a gap between top of the fence and the start of a pergola, filled in with fake ivy that I bought on the internet. Worked for me!

Lovely ideas. Thought about an arbour with seating goldengirl but it's partly the cost plus the windy location plus need good screening for privacy thats stopping me.

DH made this bamboo screen to hide our bins. He put battons behind it to make a frame and two pieces of wood stick into the planters for stability.

Depending how much privacy you're after - how about an arbour with seat and cushions?

I bought some trellis higher than the fence and hung it by screwing cup hooks into the fence. No drilling needed just made a starter hole and then the cup hook screwed itself in, if you see what I mean. Then the trellis hung off it. Not sure I've explained this very well.
Also in a corner I have screwed IKEA crates together to make a kind of display/storage unit that goes higher than the fence. If I knew how to attach a photo I would show you.

Did wonder what twigging rolls might be like to attach to the present fencing. I think it may be that for now and the forthcoming winter. Hope it will last on the windy days. It's on the corner and can get the full force at times. Thank you norah and midgey for suggestions and very helpful link.

You could buy a roll of 'twig' fencing, think they may still have them in B and M and B and Q
