One I would very much like to have in my garden too.. sadly I’ve no idea what it’s called!! grin

It looks like camomile to me

Greyduster Tue 25-Sep-18 15:05:25

Looks like chamomile to me too.

Greyduster Tue 25-Sep-18 15:11:31

Any chance you send a better photo of the leaves, Lucky?

Greyduster Tue 25-Sep-18 15:13:53

I think because some of the flowers have a pinky tinge, it could be a form of Erigeron.

I agree with Greyd, erigeron. They're well worth having! They flower and flower and survive the winter.

I’m certain you’re right GD.
Erigeron karvinskianus

Cut a little off and take to local nursery or garden centre..

A prolific self seeder. It has a big sister that was growing all over the grounds of the apartment complex we were staying at in Cornwall. I admired it. The owner said “plant it at your peril - it’s a real thug!”

Luckygirl Tue 25-Sep-18 15:52:01

I quite like thugs!! smile

Greyduster Tue 25-Sep-18 17:17:19

Me too - I sent for some seeds when we came home. Wrong time to sow them though!

Synonymous Tue 25-Sep-18 17:24:15

I don't know why I can't get such a thug to grow in my garden unless my suspicions are correct and my gardening friend is pulling it out, possibly thinking it is a weed. hmm

Synonymous Tue 25-Sep-18 17:45:49

As it is such a thug I wonder if my gardener friend thinks it is a weed and has been pulling mine out. It is very pretty so I will have to try again with a packet of seeds this time as that will be much cheaper than buying garden ready plants.

Synonymous Tue 25-Sep-18 17:47:20

Well, I thought I had lost my post so tried again and doubled my output in a oner! confused

merlotgran Tue 25-Sep-18 18:07:23

Yes. It's Erigeron karvinskianus. Self seeds in cracks and crevices, paths, walls, rockeries etc. Lovely plant.

toscalily Tue 25-Sep-18 18:38:41

It is Erigeron karvinskianu, self seeds very easily and looks pretty. If you have a friend with some get a small plant and you will then find it popping up between patio slaps, or along steps or a wall.

Luckygirl Tue 25-Sep-18 18:40:32

I need it to cover a big barren space where nothing else seems to grow. If it is a thug, then bring it on!

merlotgran Tue 25-Sep-18 18:50:13

It likes well drained soil and dry conditions so is not really happy in damp, heavy clay gardens.
