Bluebells again

I’m really cross this morning, there was a discussion on here a couple of years ago on the differences between the English and Spanish Bluebells and I have lots of the Spanish in my front garden so I thought I’d start planting the English ones under some trees in the back garden.
I ordered two hundred from Amazon and duly planted them out the back, last year lots of leaves but no flowers fair enough first year of planting. So the year pleased to see lots more leave and I’ve just been down there to check them again and what greets me? Lots of beautiful blue Muscari!

I don’t want Muscari where are my beautiful English Bluebells what a disappointment. I’ve been on Amazon to complain but it appears the company I ordered from aren’t there anymore but I’m going to see if I can trace them at least to complain.

Oh dear! Good luck with complaining,

Think re flowers, bulbs, roses, shrubs, vegetables etc it’s better to order from sites that specialise eg Sutton’s or Marshals or David Austin.

That is truly infuriating. It is like the butternut squash plants DD grew from seed last year and shared with me. Well, whatever they were they were not butternut squash - and not even edible, they tasted disgusting.

Good luck trying to trace the supplier, Tanith, but I expect it was some flybynight, doing the same thing again this year with a different name.

How frustrating tanith!!! I think MOnica is probably right.
Just wondering, was it a British supplier?
The problem with English Bluebells is getting legitimate plants, as I'm sure you know, they are endangered.

Thanks everyone not sure if it was a British supplier I suppose I just assumed, silly me ?
I’m not expecting anything to come of my complaint but I’ve learned my lesson I think.
