Does anyone know what this plant is please?

It has self seeded in a couple of places in my garden, have not had them in the garden before.

Cerinthe major purpurense it does seed quite freely

Thank you aggie. I do like the flower and bees seem to like it, so happy to keep it and let it seed.

I have no idea where they came from, not in any of my neighbours gardens but pleased to have them. Hope they do self seed!

I sowed some seeds a few years ago and they are gradually increasing, but not too vigorously. I like them, hope you will enjoy yours.

I have got a very few in our garden that have survived my neglect, but they are floppy.

My friend gave me some last year in a pot there is nothing in the polyps this year but there’s a new little plant in a totally different place I m tickled pink it chose it s own spot ?
